Nora naci\u00f3 en 1930 en pleno centro de Buenos Aires. \u201cPorte\u00f1\u00edsima\u201d, seg\u00fan su propia definici\u00f3n, aunque en el a\u00f1o 1952 se mud\u00f3 con su marido a Castelar, en el partido de Mor\u00f3n, y vivi\u00f3 all\u00ed hasta su muerte.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n De chica no pudo terminar el secundario porque junto a sus cuatro hermanas mujeres ayudaban en el negocio de su padre. M\u00e1s tarde estudi\u00f3 Alta Costura y muchos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, psicolog\u00eda social. Tuvo dos hijos, Carlos Gustavo y Marcelo.<\/span><\/p>\n El 15 de abril de 1977 secuestraron a Carlos Gustavo. Nora ten\u00eda entonces 47 a\u00f1os y se sum\u00f3 a otras madres en la misma situaci\u00f3n con las que conform\u00f3 la organizaci\u00f3n Madres de Plaza de Mayo. En 1986, luego de la ruptura de la organizaci\u00f3n, fue parte de Madres de Plaza de Mayo L\u00ednea fundadora, de la que fue presidenta durante muchos a\u00f1os. Particip\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n de FEDEFAM y desde 2015 fue integrante de la Comisi\u00f3n Provincial por la Memoria.<\/span><\/p>\n Luchadora incansable por la defensa de los derechos humanos, muri\u00f3 a los 94 a\u00f1os el 30 de mayo de 2024. <\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_tab][et_pb_tab title=\u00bbENGLISH\u00bb _builder_version=\u00bb4.27.4″ _module_preset=\u00bbdefault\u00bb hover_enabled=\u00bb0″ sticky_enabled=\u00bb0″]<\/p>\n Nora was born in 1930 in the heart of Buenos Aires. She called herself \u201cporte\u00f1\u00edsima\u201d, a description of someone extremely from the capital city, although in 1952 she moved with her husband to Castelar, in the Mor\u00f3n district, and lived there until her death.<\/span><\/p>\n As a child, she was unable to finish high school because she and her four sisters helped in her father’s business. Later, she studied high fashion design and, many years later, social psychology. She had two sons: Carlos Gustavo and Marcelo.<\/span><\/p>\n Nora was 47 years old when, on April 15, 1977, Carlos Gustavo was kidnapped. Nora joined other mothers in the same situation in forming the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo organization. In 1986, after the organization’s dissolution, she joined the Founding Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo Line, of which she served as president for many years.
